SBS’s new drama “The Master’s Son" which will be aired on the 7th, features L who plays the (So Jisub) protagonist’s younger self. In the pictures revealed today we can see the scene where Myungsoo is tied up in a warehouse by unknown people. At the first filming L perfectly portrayed So Jisub’s deep eyes and drew much attention. In particular, L who was tied on a chair in a warehouse, was able to show a mixed expression of fear and intensity, perfectly portraying the character that the audience cannot help to look forward to the drama.
(…) Although L could not even move a finger, he would still get anyone free to come over and run over the script, showing his passion towards the role.
(…) L focused so much on his role that even when the rope had scratched his arms and back he didn’t notice, catching the staff by surprise.
L said “When I first read the role of Joongwon from the script, I felt he was really similar to when I was in high school. Because of my personality it’s unnatural for me to easily express my feelings, so I’ll hide it by putting on a very composed face, this is really similar to me."
He then said “Before filming I was worried that I would drag the sunbaes down, so I was really nervous. The words of encouragement which So Jisub sunbae said to me in the recent press conference gave me a lot of strength. So because of him, filming completed successfully."
The crew also expressed “Although there aren’t many childhood scenes, but to be able to portray the origins of So Jisub’s character, is very important role. With his extraordinary gaze, L perfectly interpreted the role of Jisub, his performance in the drama, please look forward to it."
